This Summer there are a lot of events going on in the French Lick area.  French Lick Resort is hosting the National Championship, featuring a nationwide field of 312 PGA Professionals, will utilize the par-70, 7,000-yard Donald Ross Course, which opened in 1917, and the par-72, 8,100-yard Pete Dye Course which is now open. The Championship’s final two rounds will be conducted on The Pete Dye Course.  This will be a great event for the area and we are very excited about having a number of people in the area who have not experienced French Lick before.  Stay with us, kids can play in the waterpark, while dad attends the golf tournament!  We have also lowered our day pass prices to $14.50 for adults and $11.50 for children, creating a great value this summer!  Call us at 877-936-3866 to make reservations TODAY and take advantage of our low summer rates!

Memorial Day Weekend marked the 1 year anniversary of Big Splash Adventure.  In honor of our birthday we decided to have a big birthday bash!  Complete with cake, beach balls, balloons, presents, and more!  We had a rubber duck race, Axel the clown was here, Bubble Truck was here, movies, and events throughout the entire weekend.  Thanks to all of you who could join during the birthday festivities.  Here are some pictures from the weekend.

We are so excited about our new sign.  It went up on Tuesday and we are thrilled with the quality as well as the look of it.  I don’t think you will miss the entrance now!  It is 6 feet tall by 9 feet wide and consists of 5 layers of high density urethane.  It has been in the works for a while so it is great to see it up!  Check it out!

Mother’s Day is just around the corner and we here at Big Splash have several events planned to make this year a special one. We are offering free day pass admission for mothers with the purchase of 1 child admission May 6-10th! Mother’s Day weekend kids can create a special Mother’s Day surprise in our Kraft Korner. This post is a little late…I am still recovering from Spring Break!  Over Easter the Easter Bunny hopped in to hang out with the kids!  The search for the Easter Bunny’s treasure was a big hint among the kids….the Bunny himself was exhausted after delivering ALL those eggs and hanging out with the kids at Big Splash.  Below are a few pictures from our Easter Brunch Buffet and photos of the Easter Bunny!

Spring has officially hit the deck!  We have had 2 warm days in a row!  My ship is getting ready to hit the water after a winter at shore.  Big Splash and mi mates are gearing up for Spring Break….which is just around the corner.  We have several great packages available…some even include train rides and horseback riding!  Talk about and adventure!  Floating down the lazy river, splashing down thrilling water slides, and riding through the rolling hills of southern Indiana on horseback or train to complete your trip.  Sounds like a great time to me.  Beginning on Monday March 15th Big Splash Adventure will be open daily.  Please check the website for more details.  Hope to see you all soon on the “big” adventure.

A lot has been going on at Big Splash Adventure since the last post.   We have gotten through Valentine’s Day and a happy one that it was.  The hotel was buzzing with a lot of people in house.  A snow storm has hit the area and it continues to snow as I type.  Probably about 6-8 inches, not very good for mi pirate ship!  We have put out a new towel policy asking day pass customers to bring their own towels.  This has allowed us to lower the prices of day passes!  Adults are now $17.95 and children $12.95 on weekends!  Don’t worry if you forget your towels, we will have some available for purchase.  We have put out some new packages for Spring  Break including our Family Fun Splash Pack, Ride-n-Slide, and Splash-n-Saddle.  All of these packages provide a great value for any family!  Check out the website for more details.  Once again, this is Lee Wally signing out!
